Everyday I learn about a new item that Democrats and their president will soon be taxing. The latest is cell phones? I understand sales tax is an idea being floated. Taxing the internet? Taxing health care coverage as hidden salary?
Wonder what else could be taxed that they haven’t thought of? Maybe users’ fees for park benches? And umbrella tax for rainy days. An excise tax on sunglasses? A sleep tax? A “no such thing as a free lunch” tax? A tax on library books? Sidewalk taxes?
Maybe a breath tax. All that respiration no doubt harms the “environment” — I know it does around Washington DC — here where all the gas bags operate.
